Hey guys! March is finally over, and summer is in the air. For our country, I guess. March reading month was a ''MEH'' for me. I read a total of 8 books this month. Pretty disappointed with that, I wanted to read more but I feel this slump around me. I'm trying to read a classic, but you can guess that it isn't going well. More on that later, here's my March wrap up!

Title: Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira
Ratings: 3.5/5 bananas
Goodreads description: It begins as an assignment for English class: Write a letter to a dead person.
Laurel chooses Kurt Cobain because her sister, May, loved him. And he died young, just like May. Soon, Laurel has a notebook full of letters to the dead—to people like Janis Joplin, Heath Ledger, Amelia Earhart, and Amy Winehouse—though she never gives a single one of them to her teacher. She writes about starting high school, navigating the choppy waters of new friendships, learning to live with her splintering family, falling in love for the first time, and, most important, trying to grieve for May. But how do you mourn for someone you haven't forgiven?
It's not until Laurel has written the truth about what happened to herself that she can finally accept what happened to May. And only when Laurel has begun to see her sister as the person she was—lovely and amazing and deeply flawed—can she truly start to discover her own path.
Thoughts on the book: I didn't love this book. The first 100 pages was slow, a day-to-day pace which I really don't like. Or maybe im not a big fan of ''coming of age'' books.
Title: Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins
Ratings: 5/5 bananas
Goodreads description: Harper Price, peerless Southern belle, was born ready for a Homecoming tiara. But after a strange run-in at the dance imbues her with incredible abilities, Harper's destiny takes a turn for the seriously weird. She becomes a Paladin, one of an ancient line of guardians with agility, super strength and lethal fighting instincts.
Just when life can't get any more disastrously crazy, Harper finds out who she's charged to protect: David Stark, school reporter, subject of a mysterious prophecy and possibly Harper's least favorite person. But things get complicated when Harper starts falling for him—and discovers that David's own fate could very well be to destroy Earth.Thoughts on the book: I love this book! Title: Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
