Top 5 Books I wanted to start yesterday

Hello wonderful people! I am back with another Top 5 Wednesday :) today's topic is top 5 books that I wanted to start yesterday but somehow didn't. I love this topic because there's billions of books that I want to start but didn't. This won't be in any order :)

1. Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder

I found out about this book from Sasha, a youtuber (abookutopia) and the premise sounded so cool. Basically, this book is about a girl who is about to be executed but the King gave her another option. She could be executed or she could be his poison tester. Meaning, whatever food that is to be eaten by the King, she will be the first to eat it and test if it is poisoned or not. Well of course, she chose to be his poison tester. The story would unfold from there. I can't find this book in my local bookstores so I hope I can find it soon so that I could devour it.

2. LUX beginnings by Jennifer L. Armentrout 

I also found out about this book from Sasha and the premise sounds cool and I think that I would like it. I read a book about aliens, (Alienated by Melissa Landers) but didn't love it as much as I expected to be. I thought that it was okay but it didn't blew my mind so I thought why not give it a shot. But same thing as the first one, this book wasn't available in my local bookstores.

3. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Okay, I own this book but i'm not yet reading it because my plate is so full of many amazing books (wait, only 2 amazing books actually. The other 1 isn't so amazing but whatever) Go check out my April TBR if you want to know the books that I'm planning on reading this month. This book wasn't in my TBR though.

4. Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson

Same thing as Shatter me. I own this book but my plate is currently full. And I'm very excited to read it soon because it's Brandon Sanderson, people!

5. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

I watched the movie and enjoyed it too much. And If you didn't know, I stopped and I was not even halfway through because I was new to the writing style. But I really wish that I read this sooner.
