hey everyone! My name is Czar, and today I'm going to be sharing to you guys, my book review on Cinder by Marissa Meyer.

That cover is gorgeous! and it really reflects the story of the book. So, A+ to the designing team!

Omygosh guys! This book is so good! Marissa has created this wonderful world right here. The writing is very good for a debut novel, and the characters were created beautifully.

Cinder isn't your normal YA protagonist, since she's a cyborg. She is a very likable character. I like the fact that her personality isn't exactly the same as Cinderella, she doesn't gush over Prince Kai that much. She's caring and a very skilled mechanic, i might add. Iko, ( a friend of Cinder, who's a robot) is such a likable and humorous character. I think she's representing the mouse in Cinderella.

The plot is interesting, and keeps the readers to read for more. Basically, there's this awful plague that is spreading in New Beijing and Scientists are trying to find a cure. Plus, there's a war that's pretty much inevitable. The world building in this book was good, we were introduced to the world with ease and we weren't bombard with information by just one conversation. This book is fast paced, and the readers interest is kept going.

I didn't really have any problems with this book. But the ending was predictable. There was a lot of foreshadowing in this book, to the point that it Marissa was holding up a neon sign of what would likely to happen.

This book, have  little similarities in Cinderella. Originality was still present in this book. Marissa did well in her research about these Scientific things. Overall, this is a very good book. It deserves the hype that surrounds it. I highly recommend this book to everyone!
