Top 5 Debut Novels

Long time no chat guys! i'm here, once again with another late Top 5 Wednesday!  I call... a dance party!

Anyway, for this Wednesday, our topic will be Top 5 favorite debut novels. Any Debut novels, popular or not, recently released or a hundred years ago release.

5.
5th spot goes to Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo! This book was a good introduction for the Grisha world and I cannot wait to get my hands on the second book. My wallet is currently empty, the reason why I don't have this yet. (I have a book review of this book, so If you guys want to hear more of my thoughts, find my book review in the book archive XD)

4.

4th spot goes tooo Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. This was a really good debut novel. The writing was beautiful, the characters were amazing but I guess it was more on the romance side than the dystopian/fantasy side :) But this book was still wonderful and I can't wait to continue on with this Trilogy.

3.

Legend by Marie Lu takes the 3rd spot! This book was the first book that introduced me to dystopian and made me love them. This book was so fast paced and you'll get invested into the world right away.

2.

Everybody knows this book and everybody has seen the movie. This book was a very good debut novel. I don't know what happened with the other 2 books in this trilogy but this book was really good. Everybody knows how good this book is so I won't stretch that to you guys anymore.

1.

I really really liked this book. I may not show that a lot, but I love this series. I have been wanting to read this series since I saw it on Katytastic's shelves. I guess a lot of you guys knows what this book is about, by just looking at the cover you'll probably know the story behind it. This book is so kick-ass and really full of fun. Highly recommend.

Those are my top 5 favorite debut novels, what are your top 5? I hope you guys have a great day, happy reading! xx

  1. I loved the Legend and Divergent series too. I agree the second and third books in the Divergent series went downhill some from the first; however, I still liked them.
